About the Printing Process
Giclee (zhee-klay, French) means a spray of liquid. The term “Giclee print” connotes images made from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art paper, and photographic paper.
The Giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and now rivals in quality many traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes commonly found in museums and art galleries. Because their information is archived digitally, the original images will not deteriorate over time.
About the Prints
Because I am not selling any of the original art from my Henry series of children’s picture books, I have decided to make available a limited edition of Giclee archival prints from the first three books.
Each print edition will be limited to 500 prints. Each print is numbered and signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
A two-page spread has been selected from each book and is reproduced the same size as the original art.
These prints were made with Epson Ultrachrome 7 Inks on Museo paper by Crane.
